Privacy policy
Last updated: [CONFIRM: effective date]
This policy explains what personal data FishMe collects through this waiting-list site, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it.
1. Who we are
This site is operated by [CONFIRM: legal entity name], [CONFIRM: registered address] — the data controller. For any privacy question or request, contact us at [CONFIRM: privacy contact e-mail].
2. What we collect
When you join the waiting list we store your e-mail address, your early-access preference, your language, and a record of your consent with its timestamp. We check that the e-mail address is deliverable. A strictly-necessary session cookie is used to operate the site; we use no analytics or advertising trackers.
3. Why, and our legal basis
We use your e-mail to notify you about the FishMe launch and to reserve your spot, on the basis of your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time. We verify deliverability on the basis of our legitimate interest in not sending mail to invalid addresses (Art. 6(1)(f)).
4. Who we share it with
We share data only with the providers that run the service: our hosting provider ([CONFIRM: hosting provider]) and our e-mail delivery provider ([CONFIRM: e-mail / SMTP provider]). We do not sell your data. [CONFIRM: web fonts — once self-hosted, state "Fonts are served from our own servers, with no third party."]
5. International transfers
[CONFIRM: if every provider stores data within the EEA, state "Your data stays within the European Economic Area." If any provider is outside the EEA (for example a US service), name it and the safeguard — the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.]
6. How long we keep it
We keep your details until the FishMe launch and migration to the fishme.app service, or until you ask us to delete them — whichever comes first. You can remove yourself instantly using the unsubscribe link in any e-mail we send you.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Use the unsubscribe link to erase your data immediately, or e-mail [CONFIRM: privacy contact e-mail]; we respond within one month.
8. Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your data, you may lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority — UODO (Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw.
9. Is providing data required?
Providing your e-mail is necessary only to join the waiting list. There is no other consequence to not providing it.
